SUBJECT: PROPOSED SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION - NORTH SIDE
OF WILSON, EAST OF BURY AVENUE
(Public Works Committee Meeting of December 10, 1993)

RECOMMENDATIONS:

That Council epprove the installation of 30 metres of concrete sidewalk on the
north side of Wilson Avenue just east of Bury Avenue at an estimated cost of
$6.037.50.

That $6,027.50 be allocated from the Special Public Works Capital Reserve for
this purpose.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: }

The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum dated December 8, 1993

regarding a request for Mrs. Smith of 2378 Wilson Avenue for a sidewalk on Wilson Avenue
just East of Bury Avenue.

The Public Works Committee noted that the construction of 30 metres of sidewalk at this
location would connect the two existing sidewalks on the northside of Wilson Avenue. It is
recommended that this sidewa!k be constructed at an estirnated cost of $6,037.50.
