at the bottom of Raleigh, Jorvia, and Lancaster srreets,
thus preventing “Shert cute’ by wastbound traftic from the
Lougheed Highway. That way, the aniy traffic accessing the
Kitchener interaeatian weauld be from the Nei ghnboaurnhood.

On Friday thera was yet another awful Screeching of tires ag
&a car, speeding up Raleigh from Lougheed, almost hit a neigh
“bour'’s car which wat turming in our driveway. There nave
baen Geveral accident3 on these streets in the past year,
paused by commutans cutting through the neighbourhaod.

Now that counci| hae saved our Murchiae/Clayton/Tuohey neaign-
bours from such traffic perils, please help our area to use
the KitchanerWestwood intergection safely, by reétrioting
1ts use to local traffic only. Barricades above the commere~
ial zones on Raloigh, Jervia and Lancaster, coupled with "No
Right Turn” giagns on Lougheed, would force traffic to use

the intersection at Westwood and Lougheed, reducing the num-

ber of vehicles using the Kitchener/Westwood intergection.

A left turn Signal at Hastings and Loughwed eastbound, is a
wonderful idea, but it won’t halp rasidents of Woodland
Acree if we are bottiad up in our little Bhatto, unable to
reach aither Wastwood Street, er Lougheed Highway.

l urge you to implement barrioades for Raleigh/Jervia/
Lancaster as awiftly ag you did for Murchie/Clayton/Tuohey
residente. We too have children glaying outside during
Spring braak, who are equally atirisk from excess traffic.
