SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit 4/87

RECOMMENDATION: :

That as recommended by the Director of Community
Planning in his memorandum of April 9th, 1987 a Development
Variance Permit be approved to permit a variance of Zoning
Bylaw 2240, Section 905, CS-1 Highway Commercial,
Subsection (4) Front Yard, to permit a. covered walkway to
be constructed, reducing the front yard setback from 9.37m
(30.75!) to 6.93m (22.75'). :

ae BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Counci! at its Oo i
meeting of April 13th, 1987 the owners and residents of |
‘property surrounding the subject property have been advised . :
that Council are considering issuance of this Development
Variance Permit at its meeting of May tith, 1987.
Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions
should be considered by the Council and a decision reached as
to whether or not the Development Variance Permit should be .
