THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM -2- The Committee feels that it is desirable to have a loading zone in front of the lobby of the hotel not only for taxi use but also to serve other patrons. Therefore, the Committee recommends that a 15 minute loading zone be installed directly in front of the entrance to the lobby on Flint Street extending from the driveway to 9 m south. ITEM III Re: Right of Way Agreement for GVS & DD's Sewer When the City entered the GVS & DD, the existing outfall to the Pitt River was turned over to the GVS & DD. Part of the sewer crosses City owned land and therefore does not have a right of way agreement. Standard agreement forms for the City to provide this right of way at the cost of $1.00 have been prepared by the GVS & DD and examined by our solicitor. Copies of the agreements are attached. The Committee recommends that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized .to sign the two agreements as requested by the GVS & DD. ITEM IV Re: Flashing Operation of Traffic Signal at Shaughnessy and McAllister : The Committee considered the present flashing operation as requested by Council. The signal is presently set to flash between ten p.m. and six a.m. on all days except Sunday and to flash all day Sunday. The Committee feels that this flashing operation is satisfactory for the time being in view of the low traffic volumes during these times and recommends no change to the operation. Respectfully submitted, F.E. Peters, P. Eng., FEP/vw City Engineer. Attached.
