Recommendation:

That a Hi-Ranger Snorkel on a Freightliner chassis with the
additional equipment as shown in the tender bé ordered from Anderson's
Engineering Ltd., 22624 Fraser Highway, R.R. #3, Langley, B.C., for the
sum of $209,419.35 inclusive of ail taxes.

The Freightliner chassis was chosen over the International
because the Hi~Ranger Snorkel mounted on an International chassis is
too high. The overall height while driving for the Freightliner is
144 inches, International is 155 inches and the Scot is 151 inches.
Even at a height of 144 inches some modifications will be necessary to
