August 25th, 1975 Title Subdivision and various provisions are contained in the said Land Use Contract concerning the subdivision of the property, the size, shape and siting of buildings and structures and various other matters, A letter was received from School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) , August 22nd, 1975 advising with respect to school accommodations planned for September, 1976, that the Ranch Park East Elementary to be located on the West side of the new Lougheed Highway just South of the Dewdney Trunk Road is currently in the working drawing stage and that the Hastings Jr. Secondary is currently at the stage of calling tenders. A letter dated August 19th, 1975 was also received from Mr. Anthony Williams, 3440 Jervis Street, stating his support of the proposed Strata Title Subdivision Development on Hastings Street, The Architect for the project was in attendance and he gave a brief outline of the proposed development. Mayor Campbeli then invited questions from the public gallery, and Mir. Alderman Laking referred to the motion passed at the last Council meeting designating that area as part of the development and stated that it was made so that if anything comes up in the futr-re the Council would know of the original intention from the Land Use Contract. Alderman Mabbett suggested that perhaps that portion of the development should revert to the City so that it can be dedicated as a park and the City Planner advised that if that portion was so dedicated it would have some effect on the density of the development. Mr. L. Robinson, 2641 Tuohey Avenue, stated his main concern was adequate school accommodation, and drew attention to the some 150 houses being built in the area in the District of Coquitlam.
