Ald. Traboulay January 20th, 1975 in the Province would be given a share of the revenue. Mayor Campbell commented that according to the proposal, the revenue increase would be approximately $22,000,000.00, of which the municipalities should receive an amount equalling about $10.00 per capita; however, the Provincial Government has not yet indicated the manner in which the monies will be allocated. Alderman Traboulay congratulated Mayor Campbell for holding the re Juvenile Delinquent meeting meeting on Juvenile Delinquency last Thursday, and inquired what he expected to come out of the ad hoc Committee. Mayor Campbell advised he had sent letters to all who attended the meeting requesting that they advise him of any ideas they got from the meeting and of any recommendations they had with respect to the new Federal Juvenile Act, and he stated he thought there would be a further meeting sometine towards the end of February. Alderman Traboulay advised of concern expressed to him that there would not be sufficient ice time available for girls' ice hockey, and he inquired whether it would be possible to keep the ice in the arena until about April. The Recreation Director advised that keeping ice in the arena after March would be expensive if only for one sport. Alderman Laking stated he felt the matter should be referred to the Parks & Recreation Committee for consideration and report back to Council. Ald.Traboulay re Alderman Traboulay referred to a memorandum from Mr. Bruno Freschi, memo-Huntington Rubber Mills' property Adjournment the City's Planning Consultant, concerning Huntington Rubber Mills' long-term interest in the property proposed to be rezoned under By-law No. 1339; howe er, Alderman Ranger, on a point of order, inquired whether further information on the subject should be discussed at this time and the City Clerk advised that once a public hearing has been held there should be no further input as the public does not have an opportunity to comment on information received after such a Hearing.
