Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Mr. Ted Barrett, President of the Association, spoke to the request for an increase in the per capita grant from the City and advised that registration fees must make up 50% of that organization's budget structure. In answer to a query from Alderman Traboulay, Mr. Barrett stated he felt that participation in all sports sponsored by the Association would be greatly increased this year. Alderman Ranger referred to the second to last paragraph on Page 2 of the letter from the Association stating that a full financial report can be supplied by Triple A prior to passage of the final budget in the spring, and said he thought that as Trustees the Council should have a copy of the report. Mr. Barrett advised that a copy of the report will be supplied to the Councii as soon as it is received from the Auditor. From the May Day Co-ordinator, February 17th, 1975, requesting May Day Co- ordinator re May Day Parade permission to hold the May Day Parade on May 3lst at 21:30 p.m., and advising that he has written to the Provincial Highway Superintendent and the B.C. Hydro informing them of the date and time and again asking for assistance.
