Borch, City Engineer LTEM I seen ee A win bag Re: STOP Sign ~- Victoria Place The Committee recommends that a STOP sign be authorized on Victoria Place at the east side of Victoria Drive. ITEM II Re: Highway Improvement - Mayfair Industrial Park Reference is made to Council's concern relating to the establishment of arterial highways in the Mayfair Industrial Park area‘and also the dangerous access situation on Leeder Avenue. Considerable planning has been undertaken by the De- partment of Highways through their consultants, C.B.A. Engineering, and in answer to the City's request C.B.A. Engineering have provided plans outlining what is being considered for the Mayfair Industrial Park area. These plans will be posted for the June 27th, 1977 Council Meeting and explanations can be made at that time. ITEM TIT Res Port Coquitlam Zoning Amendment By-laws 1541 and 1542 plus L.U.C. No. 23 - Lot 3 of Parcel A, and part of Parcel B of Section 17, 18, & 19, B6NRI1E, Plan 8850, N.W.D. - Lougheed Highway No. 7 - Dawson Construction Ltd. and Inter-City Express. Correspondence has been received from the Ministry of Highways & Public Works dated June 14th, 1977. The City Engineer has discussed this letter with Regional Headquarters in Burnaby and was able to confirm what is apparent by the comments in the June 14th, 1977 letter that the planning for the Mary Hill By-Pass is gaining momentum. The Committee concurs with the comments of the Department of Highways and recommends as follows: [Qeaes
