The pageant was a great success this year with a terrific turnout and many gifts and prizes. Alfreda Price commented that the pageant made a profit this year, which enables them to hold the contest next year. She wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the many mer- chants for their contributions to the event. She states that they have received more gifts and prizes this year than they have ever had.
