A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlain to dispose of a portion of dedicated road in
exchange for a portion of land to be dedicated as road.

Whereas the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of
road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia,

Whereas the Registered Owner of the iands described in Section 3 of this Bylaw have agreed to
convey land to the City in exchange so that it may be established as an addition to the roads in

the City;

And Whereas the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any postion of a highway in
exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening,
straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

Now Therefore the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City.of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “Nacht Avenue Road Exchange Bylaw,
1994, No. 2867". ,

2. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the
Registered Owner of Lot 4, District Lot 290 and 342, Group One, Plan LMP7676:

ay aA4l9 m@ portion of road dedicated by Plan 2894, identified as Parcel "1" and shown
hatched on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor,
dated the 28th day of July, 1994; and

b) a4l9 m* portion of road dedicated by Plan 24865, identified as Parce! "2" and shown
hatched on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor,

dated the 28th day of July, 1994;

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those
certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of ihe City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to dedicate:

a 838 m*” portion of Lot 4, District Lot 290 and 342, Plan LMP 7676, identified as
Parcel "3" and shown within the bold outline on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese,
British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 28th day of July, 1994; and

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for that
certain parcel or tract of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
