A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port DEC 19 1883
Coquitlam to dispose of portions of Road and Lane shown

dedicated on Plan 2797 in Block 3 of the Southwest 1/4 of

Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District, in exchange

for sufficient jana to relocate the said roads and fanes.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling
portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated on Plan 2797 in Block 3 of the Southwest 1/4
of Section 7, Township 40, New westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in
the Province of Gritish Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the tand described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has

agreec to convey the said ltand to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the.
oortions of Road and Lane shown dedicated on Plan 2797 in Block 3 of the Southwest 1/4

of section 7, Township 40, New westminster District to be cancelled;

"AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of tha Revised Statutes of Uritish
‘Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose ot improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; ;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam,
in open meeting ‘assembled, enacts as follows:

I. The Corporation. of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to
the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 2 of this Bylaw, ALL AND

SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of lend and premises which may be more

particularly described as follows:

All those portions of lane and road dedicated on Plan 2797 in the South west
Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District containing areas of
614.3-square metres, 117.8 square metres and 1427.5 square metres, each shown
hatched on a reference plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land
Surveyor dated the Z5th of October 1983, a copy of which is attached hereto

at or for the price or sum of $53,371.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or
tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

zZ. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby. authorizea to purchase cf
and from the Registered Uwner thereof ALL ANO SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts of land and premises which may be more particulariy described as fo! tows:

All that portion of Lot A, Block 3, South West Quarter, Section 7, Township 40,
Plan 15515, New Westminster District containing an area of 447.0 square metres
shown within the heavy black outline on a reference plan certified by Robert M.
Reese, british Co!umbia Land Surveyor dated the 25th day of October 1983, a copy
