A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on June 15th, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. is Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, E.W. Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were Acting-Chief Administrative Officer R.A. Freeman, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Minutes: Moved by Alderman Mabbett: June 8th, 1981. Seconded by Alderman Muldoon: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council, held on June 8th, 1981 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATIONS: His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking introduced Mrs. B. Ringrose, resident Delegations: Mrs. B. of 3513 Stevenron Street who then expressed her concern regarding her Ringrose re Gazetted Lane. neighbour, Mr. 1. MacDonald, 3525 Stevenson Street, constructing the gazetted lane behind their residence. Mr. MacDonald was present and advised Council he required off-street parking for his mobile home and advised after receiving an estimate from the City on the cost of putting in the lane he had decided to go ahead with the work. Alderman Traboulay suggested that this be discussed in the Public Works Committee meeting to be held at 3:45 p.m. on June 16th, 1981. Mr. MacDonald advised he would be willing to come to the meeting to. discuss this. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the proposed opening of the gazetted lane behind 3525 Stevenson Street be referred to the Public Works Committee and be brought back ยข Council in one week.
