The Kinsmen Club of Port Coquitlam would like to take this opportunity
to request that the week of April 23 - 29, 1979 be dedicated as
Senior Citizen's week.

The various members of our committee will be meeting in the early
part of March to determine the 1979 Activity Schedule. Should vou
have any suggestions as to improving the agenda we would welcome
them along with any comments on past activities.

We assume that this function will require Council approvai and we
would ask that you make the necessary application on our behalf.

Our request for a meeting place in the old library at Leigh Square
was referred to your committee at the councii meeting on November
6, 1978,

We are informed that the Pensioners are vacating this Space at the
end of this month, The Port Cocuitlam Boy Scouts are still in need
of & multi-use meeting place,

Could we please be advised of what action your committee has taken
in this regard? Has the use of the old library facility been
established for the future?
