JAN 31 1977 NOTICE OF PUBLIG HEARING ~ ZONING BY-LAW The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, January 31st, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a proposed new Zoning By-law for the City of Port Coquitlam, which said Zoning By-law is entitled "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1977, No. 1498". Proposed Zoning By-law No. 1498 will repeal the “City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" and wili also repeal all By-laws of the City of Port Coquitlam passed in amendment to the said By~law No. 918. In substitution for the provisions contained in the By-laws repealed the proposed Zoning By-law will contain certain provisions: (a) dividing the municipality into zones; (b) regulating the use of land, buildings, and structures within such zones; (c) regulating the size, shape, and siting of buildings and structures within such zones; (d) regulating certain other matters such as may be lawfully regulated in a Zoning By-law. The provisions of the proposed Zoning By-law will affect all land, buildings, and structures, located within the corporate limits of the City of Port Coquitlam. SPECIAL NOTE: Certain Zoning Amendment By-laws currently in process but not yet adopted are now stated to be amendments to the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" which will be repealed by the proposed Zoning By-law No. 1498. Upon final passage of such Zoning Amendment By-laws suitable amendments will be made to the proposed Zoning By-law No. 1498 in order that continuing effect may be given to such Zoning Amendment By-laws. If any such Zoning Amendment By-law remains unpassed at the date of adoption of proposed Zoning By-law No. 1498, such By-laws will be re-stated in terms of the new Zoning By-law No. 1498, so as to become amendments thereto when passed, A copy of the proposed "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1977, No. 1498" may be inspected in the Office of the City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. — on workin, days - from this date until January 31st, 1977. All persons who deem their interest in property affected by the proposed By-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing; either in person, by attorney, or by petition.
