Scott OCT 297977 RE: Fire Department I am sure that all members of Council are aware of the motion that has been adopted regarding the consolidation of our Fire Department with that of the District of Coquitlam. Once again this is the adopted motion: February list, 1974; I am exercising my prerogative as Mayor to once again bring this matter to Council’s attention. I feel strongly that not all Members of Council are absolutely clear on the intent of the motion, a feeling also expressed to me by our Administrator. yet another when the sane motion gives S to our staff to draw up an agreement, Several Members of Council have stated that they have no objection to approval "in principle" at this time, as now a "study" will take piace that would show the merits or demerits of departmental consolidation. I submit that this is not so with the motion that has been adopted.
