RE: Zoning Amendment By-law No. 1255

As Council will recall at its regular meeting of June 18th, 1973 the report from
the Planning and Zoning Committee respecting Community Care Facility Uses was
tabled for consideration on June 25th, 1973 and the same is attached hereto.

Also attached hereto is a copy of the above noted Zoning Amendment By-law and

July 9th, 1973 at 7:30 p.m.

We would draw the Council's attention to clauses
By-law and we would advise that clause (e) has be
avoid the necessity of obtai

"Farm Land Freeze", It should be particularly noted that
while the sub sections obviate the necessity of receiving the various approvals they
also make it impossible for Community Care Facility Uses to be established on the
lands described and Council may want to strike clauses (e) and (£) from the By-Law
and obtain the necessary approvals in order that the By-law may have affect adjacent
to an arterial highway and in the Flood Plain,
