A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Pert Coquitlam, BC on Monday, July 25, 1994, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart, R.H. Talbot, and M.A. Thompson were in attendance. Also in attendance were Acting City Administrator J.G.S. Maitland, Secretarial Assistant to the City Clerk G.S. Chubaty, Project Engineer F.K.K. Cheung, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip, and Director of Parks and Recreation K.J. Taylor. Mayor L.M. Traboulay gave civic recognition to the PoCo Marlins Swim Club regarding their Provincial Finals Achievements. Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Supt. E.D. Dore, RCMP, Coquitlam Detachment, and Mrs. Dore, commemorating Supt. Dore’s upcorhing retirement. That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council Mecting of July 11, 1994 be taken as read and adopted. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay asked Council if they wished to allow the following petitioners to speak regarding 865 Citadel Drive? « Ms. Christine Allen, 819 Musket Terrace. ¢ Mr. Lyle Armstrong, Representative of Genstar Development Company + Mr. David Porte, Representative of Porte Realty Seconded by Councillor Gates: That the petitioners be allowed to speak regarding 865 Citadel Drive. Carried His Worship, Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Peter Vogel, 830 Citadel Drive who addressed Council regarding his concems about a proposed shopping plaza at 865 Citadel Drive citing that Citadel Heights is a peaceful, residential community which may be threatened by this rezoning.
