I would like to request your permission to be appointed to che

Joint Family Court Committee as a community representative.

I was jJnvited to attend a meeting of the committee in early April

aB a resource person, and then attended their regular meeting on

April 22. Having read the mandate of the committee and met the
people who serve on it, I would like to become a full participant.
My background is specifically in criminology, with a special
enphas.> on victimological studies. As well, professionally, 1
have been involved in the development and implementation of suicide
prevention services for youth (in Maple Ridge, Mission and
Abbotsford), as well as in the initiation of services for at risk
youth and families. I believe 1 can make a significant contribu-
tion to the Committee.
