July 10, 1989/152 From the Deputy City Engineer, July 6th, 1989 regarding installation of stop signs on Elinor and McRae Crescents. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That stop signs be installed on Elinor Crescent at the intersection with Eastern Drive and on McRae Crescent at the intersection with Patricia Avenue. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to revise the Traffic Regulations Bylaw if the above recommendation is approved by Council. Carried. From the Deputy City Engineer, July 6th, 1989 regarding stop sign locations at Vincent Street and Fraser Avenue. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That the stop signs at the intersection of Vincent. Street at Fraser Avenue be reversed so that Vincent Street is the through street and Fraser Street traffic is required to stop. That temporary “stop ahead" signs complete with flashers be installed on Fraser Avenue to warn motorists of the signing change. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to revise the Traffic Regulations Bylaw if the above recommendation is approved by Council. Carried. From the Deputy City Engineer, July 6th, 1989 regarding request from residents at Moody Court. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That the residents of Moody Court be advised that the City is not prepared to install electrical outlets on the ornamental streetlight poles as requested. That "Children Playing” signs not be installed at the entrance to the street as requested by the residents.
