That Council instruct staff to proceed with the necessary
amendments to the City's Building Bylaw as outlined in the Province

newspaper article dated September 5th, 1982 attached, and if any other items
come to mind to include them, for the better safety of our citizens.

Moved by Alderman Mabbett:

Seconded by Alderman Vater:

That Council alternate Council members each year by sending
only the Mayor and one half the Council to the U.B.C.M. conventions
in the coming years.

Discussion ensued regarding the size and attendance at the
U.B.C.M. Convention and Mayor Traboulay asked that the decision on
the resolution be set aside until after the 1982 convention.

regarding the U.B.C.M. Conventions be tabled until the regular
