THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM BYLAW NO.1917 A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road and Lane in Block A of District Lot 289, Group One, New Westminster District, dedicated on Plan 1954 in exchange for sufficient land to 7 relocate the said road. WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Road and Lane in Block A of District Lot 289, Group One, New Westminster District, dedicated on Plan 1954 in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for'the lands comprising the portion of Road and Lane in Block A of District Lot 289, Group One, New Westminster District, dedicated on Plan 1954, to be cancelled: AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: l. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the ‘land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: FIRST THREE ABACINGS
