No.27, permitting an addition to
the Cat and Fiddle building.

COMMENTS:

1)

Under a recent amendment to the Municipal Act,
municipalities are now empowered to revise Land
Use Contracts, Section 717(1). What is required
is that an agreement outlining the proposed
change to the existing contract be prepared and
that it be adopted by way of a bylaw to go with
the Land Use Contract bylaw.

Before the Municipal Act amendment was passed it
was necessary for the Supreme Court of B.C. to
grant relaxation in each case under sections 31
and 32 of the Property and Conveyancing Act.
