Re: 2245 Shaughnessy Street - Denny's Investments Ltd.

Attached hereto please find copies of correspondence dated
October 23rd, 1975 and December 19th, 1975. With reference to the request
that a portion of Central Avenue be closed and incorporated with the
property at 2245 Shaughnessy Street in order to eliminate the present
encroachment on public road allowance, the Committee recommends that the
position outlined in the City Clerk's letter of December 19th, 1975 be
confirmed. The City Clerk stated in his letter of December 19th, 1975
that “our Council has steadfastly maintained the position that although
it has no present intention of moving against the existing encroachment
it does not intend to take any action that would affect the width of
Central Avenue right of way".
