BY-LAW NO, 1303

A By-law to amend the “Traffic Regulation By-law, 1971, No. 1117",

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam,

dn open meeting Assenbicd, enacts as follows:
LL Section 9 of Schedule "A" of the "Traffic Regulation By-law, 1971, No.
2117" ts amended by inserting che following therein as clauses 1.2 and 1,3;
Cedar Drive - East side - Prairie Avenue to Wright Avenue,
Cedar Drive - West side - Prairie Avenue to Wright Avenue."
2. Section 9 of Schedule "A" of the By~law is further amended by inserting
the following therein as elause xx,1;
"xx. vivian Place - West side - Easter Drive to Columbia Avenue,"
3. Clause (a) of Section 10 of Schedule "A" ig amended by ve-numbering
the present sub-clauses t, to v., inclusive, as clauses ii. to iv., inclusive,
and inserting the following as sub-clause i:
"1. Donald Street - North-West side - adjacent to Lot 3, Plan 16910."
4, Section 10 of Schedule "A" ig further amended by inserting the following
as Clause (g):
"(g) From 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cedar Drive ~ West side - Wright Avenue to Chelsea Avenue,"
5. Section 12 of Schedule "4! of the ‘By-law is amended by repealing clause
(b) and substituting the following:
"(b) bus zones
As shown on City of Fort Coquitlam Engineering Department Drawing
No. 211-28 entitled "Bus Stop Locaticns" and dated July 30th, 1973
with revisions to February Ist, 1974 which said Drawing is attached
to and made a pari of By-lew No. 1303 and as described thereon,"
6. Schedule "5" of the By-law is amended by repealing the two locations of
“NO LEFT TURN" Signs set out therein and substituting the following:
“Location of "NO LEFT TURN" Signs:
(a) Effective from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on each and every day so as
to prohibic all traffic except buses moving North on Shauginessy

Street from turning into Elgin Avenue ;

(bd) Effective from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 PeM. on each and every day so ag
to prohibit all traffic except buses moving South on Shaughnessy
Street from turning into Elgin Avenue.”

7. Schedule "Cc" of the By-law {8 amended by inserting the following
Crosswalk locations therein in their correct alphabetical order:

“Crossing Cedar Drive at the South side of Lincoln Avenue.

Crossing Coast Meridian Road at the North side of Lynwood Avenue.

Crossing Victoria Drive *(East-West portion) at the East side of

Toronto Street.”
8 Clause (111) of Section & of Schedule "E" is anended by striking out the
word "Easterly" where it apeears therein and substituting therefor the word
"Westerly".
3. Clause (iv) of Section 4 of Schedule "E" 41s amended by striking out the
word and figure “and 3" where it appears therein.
10. City of Port Coquitlam Engineering Department Drawing Ne. 213-26
entitled "Bus Stop Locations" and dated July 39th, 1973 with revisions to
February Ist, 1974, is attached to and made Part of this By-law.
li. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the ' affic Regulation
By-law, 1971, No. 1117, Amendment By-law, 1974, No. 1303",

Read a first cine by the Municipal Council this Twenty-fifth day of
February, 1974,

Read a second time by the Municipal Council this Twenty-fifth day of
February, 1974,

Read a third time by the Municipal Council this Eighteenth day of
March, 1974, .

Reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of
The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam this Twenty-fifth day of March,
1974,
