Both Clint Hamilton and Kevin Hanson are highly experienced with lengthy credentials to back them up so far. In his coaching career, Hamilton was: « Assistant coach men’s national team last two summers. * Assistant coach University of Victoria men’s Vikings under Guy Viterie, the head coach 91 — present. « Head coach UVic men’s JV’s 90- 91. * Head coach Vancouver Com- munity College women 88-89. ¢ Assistant coach Vancouver Com- : munity College men’s 88-89 — coached former Terrace Kermodes’ Harpal and Satnam Manhas under head coach Duncan McCallum. ¢ Head coach UBC women JV’s 87-88. Both coaches have done numer- ous camps around B.C. and across Canada, and both will be involved with the University of Victoria and University of British Columbia summer camps, plus many other clinics. The mini-camp is to devel- op young talent in the Northwest, plus it will give both coaches a chance to evaluate new and up- coming talent that otherwise might never have been seen for their respective programs. The local camp is set for June 7 to 9, On Friday the 7th, it runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at Skeena Junior high school. The camp then moves to Thornhill Junior high for Saturday and Sunday action. On Saturday, the younger players — go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the older youths from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The same times are in effect for Sunday. The school costs each youngster $45 (all cheques 10 be made out to “Satna Manhas). It covers Grades 5 to 12, with elementary young- sters making up the younger group. ‘Entry forms are "available at schools whete they must be returned when completed. There will be T-shirts for all participants supplied by Sight and Sound. Prizes will also be offered by Nike — the sponsor of the camp. May 25 is the entry deadline.
