Dear Mrs. Taylor:

The Kinsmen Club of Port Coquitlam would like to take
this opportunity to request that the week of April 24th. Through
30th., 1978 be dedicated as "SENIOR CITIZENS WEEK",

We sincerely apologize for being late with this request.
and hope that becouse of this short notice, our plans for Senior
Citizens Week are not in jeopardy. It was only afser our plans
were well under way that we realized your department had not yet:
been contacted.

As in the past, we Kinsmen and our Kinettes will support

this project to the fullest to ensure that it is once again a
great success, Through discussions with Anita Moore, we under-
Stand the City would rather hold their dinner for the Seniors at
another time. With this in mind, the dinner has been dropped
from its usual time on the Thursday. Attached, is a copy of the
agenda for Senior Citizens Week - 1978, for your attention and
possible comment.
