AT RINDALL AVE. RECOMMENDATION: Install "No Stopping" signs according to the Pedestrian Crossing Control Manual for BC at the following locations: -on the northwest comer of the intersection of Rindall and Mary Hill for a distance of 30m and, -on the southeast comer 30m south of the crosswalk. Estimated cost is $220.00. See attached diagram for details. Attached is a request from a staff member requesting that the Engineering Dept. restrict parking at the crosswalk on Mary Hill at Rindall. Reason For Request The staff member is concemed with cars parking close to the crosswalk which restricts the visibility for moving vehicles approaching the crosswalk. Existing Condition The crosswalk is signed with the standard pedestrian crossing signs; however, parking is allowed on both sides of the street.
