SS Ets - V3V 1X4 Attn: Deborah Rhymer Dear Ms. Rhymer, | am pleased to present an application for a Community Child Care Need Assessment _ Grant on behalf of the j elopment Council i hich under which the Child Care Issues Committee functions. The Community consists of the Cities of Coquitlam population 84,021, Port Moody populaticn 17,712, Port Coquitlam population 36,773, and the Villages of Anmore population 741 and Belcarra population 586. All these population figures are from the 1991 Census of Canada rather than ask for 5 grants. We propose to do a co- ordinated survey, with a total request for $30,150. Contributions in kind from each municipality will vary according to their population, and capacity to assist ie. All have agreed to provide address labels for the survey, except for Port Coquitlam, which could not meet the time frame (see letter from Carlos Felip, the planning director). As soon as Council is able to vote on a resolution we will forward it to you.
