THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM
BYLAW NO. 2818

A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of dedicated road in
exchange for portions of land to be dedicated as road.

Whereas the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of
road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia;

Whereas the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 3 of this Bylaw have agreed to
convey land to the City in exchange so that it-may be established as an addition to the roads in
the City;

And whereas the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in
exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening,
straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

Now Therefore the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Kingsway 1400 Block Road Exchange
Bylaw, 1993, No. 2818".

The Corporation of the City of Port Coqvitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the
Registered Owner of Parcel "S"” (Reference 1 6950) S- tion 17 and 18, Block 6, North
Range 1 East, except: Firstly: Part on P! 9150, Se adly: Part within heavy black
out-line on Statutatory-Right-of-Way Plan 6.

a. a 306.7 m2 portion of road dedicated .. Plan 10150, identified as Parcel "A" and
shown hatched on a plan certified by Mike E. Shaw, British Columbia Land
Surveyor, dated the 23rd day of June, 1993;

a 183.9 m2 portion of road dedicated by Plan 10150, identified as Parcel "B" and
shown hatched on a plan certified by Mike E. Shaw, British Columbia Land
Surveyor, dated the 23rd day of June, 1993;

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those
certain parcels or tracts of land descrived in the next Section hereof.
