THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM "WATER FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT COST CHARGE BYLAW, 1988, NO. SCHEDULE "A" as enacted by Bylaw No. 2526 DEVELOPMENT COST CHARGES ~ WATER Where the subdivision or development takes place on any -ds within the boundaries of the area outlined on Map No. 1, the fol’. .ing development cost charges shall apply and be paid in respect of industrial uses and industrial lands: (a) at the time of issuance of a pbuilding permit a development cost charge in an amount determined by multiplying $7,000.00 by the area in hectares of the lot or iots upon which the building permit authorizes construction, alteration or extension of a building or structure; or at the time of approval of subdivision a development cost charge in an amount determined by multiplying $7,000.00 by the area in hectares of all lots created by the subdivision. Where the subdivision or development takes place on any lands within the boundaries of the area outlined on Map No. 2, the following development cost charges shall apply and be paid: (a) in respect of residential uses and residential lands: (1) at the time of issuance of a building permit a development cost charge in the amount of £333.00 for each new dwelling unit authorized to be constructed; or (14) at the time of approval of subdivision a development cost charge in an amount determined by multiplying $333.00 by the maximum potential number of dwelling units permitted by the applicable zoning regulations on each lot created by the subdivision. (b) in respect of commercial uses and commercial lands: (i) at the time of isauance of a building permit a development cost charge in an amount determined by multiplying $2.43 by the gross floor area in square meters of the building or struccure to which the building permit applies.
