A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Councl! Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Half on Monday, March 24th, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. .

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in

attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A.
Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Treasurer J.G,
Maitland, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, Fire Chief J.N.
Boileau and Parks & Recreation Director K.J. Taylor.

That the minutes of the Public Hearing held on March 17th, 1986 and
the minutes of the Regutar Counci| Meeting held on March 17th, 1986, be

taken as read and adopted.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced The Salvation Army Port

Coquititam Area Leader, Ms. Elma Stewart and Presented a proclamation. in
recognition of the National Red Shield Appeal.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. Holmes, 1037 Terra

Court who then made a presentation regarding her opposition to the City's
donation of $506.00 to the Share Food Bank and stated in her opinion it

was up to individuals to give if they so wished.

His Worship Mayor L.M,. Traboulay introduced Mr. Mike Bowen,

representative of the Port Coquitlam Merchants Association who then made
a presentation regarding tax on business and industry.

BYLAWS:

BL/05/86/03/24/10
Alderman Laking Introduced a Bylaw to authorize the lease on a month

to month basis of 2275 Pitt River Road, Port Coquitlam, B.C.
