I would emphasize again that the work which was done
to the field was made necessary by the previous heavy use of
the field. The only question was whether it should have been
done this fall or in the spring. By doing it this fall it was
possible to make the field usable for the winter. Otherwise,
it would have had to be closed until work could be done in the

spring.
