“Item Two: "Family Night" Swim Period. Comments; aor There have been several requests by members of the public for the re- introduction of Family Night Swimming. The period was dropped about two years ago when it was discovered that many children would stand at’ the pool entrance and solicit vadults to include them in their family group. The Committee does not believe there is any foolproof method to prevent this practice but does believe that a Family Night period is desirable. Recommendation: a (a) That the Port Coquitlam Parks & Recreation Department re-establish Ce a Family Night program on Sunday evenings during the final swimming period (presently 6:15 = 8:15 pom) (b) That a rate of fifty-five cents per family be adopted.
