Prior to the question being called on the foregoing proposed resolution, a discussion ensued and Mayor Campbell stated he felt it would be nice for long-time residents of the City to have streets named after them, and Alderman Mabbett advised that a list of such names is on file in the Building Inspector's office which could be referred to by the Planning Officer. Alderman Laking suggested that the report be referred back to the Planning & Zoning Committee for review, and with the assent of the Seconder, Alderman Keryluk, Alderman Laking then withdrew his motion stated above. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That the report of the Planning & Zoning Committee, October 2nd, 1975, recommending names for streets in the Ricard and Gavel Subdivisions, be referred back to that Committee for review. Carried. From the City Clerk, October 2nd, 1975, referring to two smali request for ease- ments-8,.C. Hydro & Power Authority portions of City property over which the B.C. Hydro & Power Authority has requested easements be granted, and pointing out that an indirect benefit will flow to the City in that the B.C. Hydro has offered to undertake the necessary survey and legal work in order that the City's title thereto may be registered and the Right-of-Way then gr:-nted. Moved by Alderman iaking: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That a Right-of-Way in the standard form of document used by the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority be granted by The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to the said Authority over that area of City property shown outlined red on a Right-of-Way Plan over portions of District Lots 174 and 379, Group One, New Westminster District prepared by Colin H. Bracey, B.C.L.S., and sworn correct by him on June lith, 1975; THAT the compensation payable by the Authority therefore be the nominal sum of $1.00; THAT all survey and legal costs for any purpose whatsoever in connection with the granting of the Right-of-Way or placing the City's title in a condition to grant the said Right-of-Way be paid by the Authority;
