Hail to the new King and Queen CONGRATULATIONS to the wonderful ladies from the Kinette Club of Ter- race, The 17th annual Seniors Sweetheart Dinner and Dance held Sunday, Feb. 13 at the Elks Hall was a extraordinary event. The Sweetheart Dinner and Dance is an annual event that local seniors look forward to each year. The afternoon began al 4 p.m. with seniors eagerly waiting at the doors. Kin- ettes and local Kinsmen happily greeted the seniors and ushered them inside the hall, which. was taste- fully decorated with red and white balloons and carnations. The special event was kicked off by Kinette Joyce Gibson, who wel- comed everyone and said grace. The Kinette ladies had been busy all day prepar- ing the delicious meal; which was served by the Kinsmen. Once the 150 puiests had finished their meals and socialized a bit;. names were drawn to win a selection of fabulous prizes that were. donated by generous. ‘Local -mer- chants. ‘ I’m sure everyone re- ceived a lovely gift. Even I won one. Thank-you to Fa- bricland for the cute apron YVONNE MOEN IT won. Afterward, the invited guests at the head table were introduced. They were: RCMP Set.
