JOHN CHRETIEN, Terrace, B.C, Funeral services were held Sat- urday, February 5, for Jean Louis Henry (John) Chretien who died in a woods accident on February 2, The late Mr. Chretien was born in France on October 27, 1901. He had lived in Terrace for 42 years during which time he was in the logging industry. Left to mourn his loss are his wife Kathleen, six children Paul- ine 17, Henry 16, Albert 14, Lor- raine 11, Cecelia 5 and Johnny 4 and one sister, Mrs. Mary Cote, all of Terrace. : Funeral service was held from the Evangelical Free Church, the Reverend J. Jost officiating. Inter- ment was made in Kitsumkalum Cemetery with Fred Gibbs, Wally Froese, Howard Toftager, Morie Daigle, Guy Mailloux and Joe Paquette acting as pallbearers. Members of the Oddfellows’ Lodge attended in a body to pay their last respects along with members and friends of the fam- ily, MRS. HECTOR COTE, Smithers, B.C. Mrs. Hector Cote, the former Eva Peterson of Terrace, died sud- denly at her home in Smithers on |} Sunday, January 23. Funeral services were held in Smithers on January 27.
