Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Mabbett
expressed concern regarding the estimate for the alterations to No. 1
Firehall and Mayor Laking concurred with his concerns.

Counel], Committee meeting held on July 10th, 1980 the two 30.75 foor
wide lots and two 4 foot wide lots at 2452 Kingsway Avenue be sold tea
the owner of the property located Immediately west thereof at the price
of $4.50 a square Loot;
SUBJECT TO the required road dedfeations being made in the area,

Discussion was then held on the advertising of City owned land
offered for sale and Alderman Wright suggested all land sales be advertised
in the local newspaper, Alderman Keryink commented regarding the exchange
ef road allewanees and Alderman Mabbetr commented regarding the City
working to encourage development of the downtown area,
