6.0 7.0 8.0 9.0 PARKS AND RECREATION High support was expressed for all policies in this section. COMMUNITY SERVICES All policies within this section were met with high support and very little opposition. ROADS AND TRANSPORTATION All of the general policies on roads and transportation, regarding the mitigation of impacts and co-operation between various agencies, were highly supported. There was high support for the development of a bicycle path system that would link neighbourhoods, schools, parks and commercial areas. There was higher support for designating bicycle paths along all arterial and collector roads than on collector roads only. People also felt that the bicycle paths should be City-wide rather than internal to neighbourhoods only. UTILITY SERVICES There was overall high support for the proposed policies to encourage orderly development, phasing and undergrounding of services. 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS Enclosed for Council's information is a summary of "open-ended" comments received together with the questionnaires.
