In. connection with the Municipal Officers' Association Conference being
held in Harrison Hot Springs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June

3rd, 4th and Sth, 1981, a pre~conference seminar is being held on Tuesday,
June 2nd on By-law prosecution and enforcement. The session starts at
1:00 p.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. and the fee is $25.00.

I would like to suggest that our By-law Enforcement Officer, Mr. R.G.
Criggie, be permitted to attend this pre-conference seminar. Mr. Criggie
would proceed to Harrison Hot Springs in the morning and return home on
the Tuesday evening after the conclusion of the seminar. The only
expense to the City, other than. the $25.00 registration fee, would be

Mr. Criggie's use of his City vehicle and the usual meal allowances.

Details of the content of this seminar are shown on the reverse and
Council's instructions would be appreciated. .
