Tne next general meeting of the Potters Guild af 2.C. wicl
taxe place at Van Dueen Gardena, 37th d& Oak atreet, Vancouver,
beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wedmeaday, February 17th. The ueual
tea, coffee and "“goodiea" will be served from 7-8 p.m., followed
by a short bustness meeting. Jean Fahrnt will be displaying
éxamples from her extensive collection of Agstan pottery dating
from 3000 B.C. to tha 17th Centimy. At approrimately 9:00 p.m.
we shail taxe a glance backwarda in time with Jean who will show
some of ner sitdes and talk on pottery tradittona, design and
practices from the past. There ta perhapa ‘nothing new wider
the sun' and it ta from the millennia of cerame experience that
we contemporary pottera gatn both strength and hwniiity.
