most of the flesh was taken off the
back. He was fixed up at the Haz-

Between four and five hundred In-
dians have left this district for the
salmon fishing and canneries on the
lower Skeena river the latter part of
the week. On Saturday some three
hundred were supposed to go, and on
Sunday another sixty or more went
west. That takes most of the Indians
on the local reserves.

mixed up with the Indian Department
recently and on a charge of supplying
Andian women he got three months ‘or
$100 fine.
