ENg., Deputy City Engineer SUBJECT: Relocation of Stop Signs - Vincent Street and Fraser Avenue (Public Works Committee Meeting July 5, 1989) Recommendation: 1. That the stop signs at the intersection of Vincent Street at Fraser Avenue be reversed so that Vincent Street is the through street and Fraser Street traffic is required to stop. 2. That temporary "stop ahead" signs complete with flashers be installed on Fraser Avenue to warn motorists of the signing change. 3. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to revise the Traffic Regulations Bylaw if the above recommendation is approved by Council. Background and Comments: The Committee noted that with the increased usage of McLean Park there was a problem with speeding traffic on Fraser Street en route to Coast Meridian Road from the park.
