Tenders were received for this project on January 30.
Appended is a list of the bids received,

The original budget for Phase I of the project was $516,000 in
1985 dollars, conservatively, assuming 4% inflation since.
then, the adjusted budget is approximately $536,000 in current
dollars. -

We see no reason that the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam should not accept, and enter into contract with, the
low bidder, Key Engineering Ltd. Their tender price is
$499,000.00 with a construction period of 19 weeks. This
price includes full landscaping for the building which was not
included in the original budget. .

On your behalf, we have met the contractor, visited a similar.
project undertaken by the firm (Dogwood Lodge), and confirmed

his bonding status.
