oS Heritage tree ANOTHER PIECE of Terrace history was marked with the placement of a couple of plaques. on downtown trees commemorating their planting in the pioneer days by city founder George Little. The presentation was made by Terrace Beautification Society organizer Betty Campbell. with Edith Kawinsky, the daughter of George Little, present. They're pictured above beside the: old maple tree at the southeast corner of the Inn of the West, Edith's father planted the tree for - her in 1985 when she was 13 years old. Little was responsible for the planting of most of the, old trees along Lakelse Ave all the way to the old bridge. He planted the hardwood trees there in 1915.
