April 9th, 1984 /48 A regular meeting of the Municipal Counci| of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall on Monday, April 9th, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.C, Farnworth, M.D. Gates, JeJ. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance, Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P, Eng., City Treasurer J. Maitland, Director of Community Planning W. Brown, Fire Chief J.N. Boileau and Parks & Recreation Director K.J. Taylor. SPECIAL PRESENTATION: ¥*NP/01/84/04/09/00 His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Fred Hasen, of the National Ringette Team, Kitchener, Ontario and Mr. Hasen then presented Mayor Traboulay with a tribute from the Mayor of Kitchener, Ontario. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: *BL/02/84/04/09/01 Bylaw No. 2022: To rezone Lot 26, Section 17, Block 6, North Range 1 East, New Westminster District of a Subdivision Plan in process which said subdivision plan was certified correct by Robert mM, Reese, B.C.L.S. on September 12th, 1983 consisting of 0.3095 ha.; from A-1 to CS-2 so that the entirety of the said Lot 26 will be zoned uUt~2, This Property is located at the Southeast corner of the intersection of Trenton Street and the Lougheed Highway and upon completion of the rezoning procedures it is expected that the service station now located in that vicinity will expand its operation to encompass the entirety of the said Lot 26, No one was present to speak at the Public Hearing. *BL/03/84/04/09/05 Bylaw No. 2023: To rezone Lot 13, District Lot 288, Group One, Plan 4667, New Westminster District, from A-1 to M-1. This property is located at 1765 Coast Meridian Road and is being rezoned in order that industrial use permitted in the M-1 zone may be established on the Property and it is expected that buildings, structures, etc. will be erected thereon. No one was present to speak at the Public Hearing.
