WHEREAS pursuant to Subsection (1) (b) of Section 513 of the “Municipal Act", being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1960 and amendments thereto, the Mundeipal Council may by by- law stop up and close to traffic a portion or any portion of a highway; AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam deems it desirable and expedient that certain portions cf highway hereinafter described be stopped up and closed to traffic; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, in Open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: All that portion of Elgin Road and that portion of lane in Block 19; District Lot 463, Group One, New Westminster District shown ¢edicated on Plan 2214, which may be more particularly described as follews: ) , (a) All that portion of Elgin Road shown dedicated on Plan 2214 in Bleck 19, District Lot 463, Group One, New Westminster District containing an area of 2,440 square feet and shown “ putlined red on an Explanatory Plan certified by V.H.G. Crockford, B.C.L.S., and dated the 19th day of June, 1979; a copy of which is attached hereto; and, db) All that portion of lane shown dedicated on Plan 2214 in Block 19, District Lot 463, Group One, New Westminster District, containing an area of 1,770 square feet and shown ‘outlined red on an Explanatory Plan certified by V.H.G. Crockford, B.C.L.S., and dated the 19th day of June, 1979; a copy of which is attached hereto; ie hereby stopped up and closed to traffic. 2. ” This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the “Elgin Road and Lane Plan 2214 Road Closure By-law, 1979, No. 1696".
