Re: Purchase of Property - 2189 Wilson Avenue

The owners of the above mentioned property recently approached
the City with regard to the purchase of their property. The location
of the lot is shown on the attached Plan. The purchase is desireable
from the City's point of view because it does complete the City land
holdings in this particular block.

The owners are prepared to accept the price of $45,000. for the
property. In accepting this price, they have asked for a 90 day period
in which to arrange a relocation and have asked for terms of $10,000.
Down with the balance to be paid at the end of the 90 day period or
whenever the City takes vacant possession of the property, whichever is
sooner.

I am satisfied that this purchase price is appropriate and would
recommend that we purchase the property according to the terms set out
above.
