Re: Local Improvement Petition - Lancan Avenue

Re: Pedestrian Footbridge at Patricia

Alderman Mabbett has been’ able to obtain copies of
preliminary sketches of the proposed Patricia Footbridge from
the consultant engineer and one of the four proposals has
apparently been selected by M.L.A. Kerster as being appropriate.

The Committee reviewed the four alternatives and agreed
that the alternative shown as Scheme Al attached is the most
suitable, Although we have not officially been asked to comment
on the design, the Comittee recommends that M.L.A. Kerster be
requested to ensure that the handrail be of anodized aluminum
rather than steel and that it be installed with no gap between
