April 14th, 1975 set forth in a report from the Senior Building Inspector, April llth, 1975, that temporary buildings and their construction, such as greenhouses in Agricultural areas, must conform to code requirements and that permits be issued, be tabled for one week in order that more information can be obtained on a particular greenhouse presently under construction. Carried. Alderman Traboulay referred to the item in the report concerning sprinkler system installations in buildings of commercial and industrial construction and stated he would be submitting a detailed report thereon at a later date. Alderman Traboulay then referred to the matter of landscaping in Industrial and Commercial construction where occupancy occurs prior to completion thereof, and Alderman Laking recommended that developers be required to deposit a smn of money with the City to be returned upon completion of the landscaping. Mayor Campbell stated he agreed with the recommendation proposed by Alderman Laking. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the City's Zoning By-law be amended to include a provision under Section 303(7) thereof requiring developers of commercial or industrial construction to deposit with the City monies equal to the cost of landscaping, refundable upon completion. Carried. RESOLUTIONS: Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That the Agreement dated for reference the 17th day of February, 1975, between The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, et al, and David E. Dagert, Analyst/ Programmer, wherein the parties thereto agree with respect to the provision of computer programming services be approved; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the said Agreement on behalf of the City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
